DESCRIPTION:Let’s ROLL. See you all at Notte once again for our fall fundraiser on November 8th! This year we’re keeping things simple and focusing on the delicious pizza\, excellent drinks\, and our BRAND NEW SHIRTS which will be for sale for the first time. We have a variety of colors to choose from\, but limited quantities of each so if you see one you must have in your closet\, make sure to come to Notte on the 8th and claim it before they sell out! We still have hats and stickers available to purchase too. \nThank you once again to the amazing folks at Notte / Two Brothers Tavern for offering their space and donating 25% of the night’s sales to the Middlebury Skatepark Project!! No reservations so tables will be first come\, first served; but we’re maximizing tables for dining this year. Or come grab pizza to go! \nThis is an all ages event and as always we will have fun things for the kids to do so the whole family can enjoy a fun night out in support of alternative recreation in Middlebury. 🤙🤙

DESCRIPTION:Join us again at Notte for our 2nd annual fall fundraising event\, from 5 to 9pm on November 10th! There will be a $5 suggested donation at the door — All donations and 25% of food and drink sales will go directly to the Middlebury Skatepark Project. We will be showing all of the skate deck artwork from our skate deck auction\, and you will have a chance to get your last-minute bids in. The auction ends at 7pm that night! \nWe will also be debuting some brand NEW Middlebury Skatepark Project merch: hats!! This event will be your first and best chance to get your hands on one of the 7-panel hats or beanies. \nKeep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook pages to get a preview of the new hats\, and for any updates and additions to the event. Come help us celebrate an awesome year for the MSP\, and to help us raise money for the design and construction of the future Middlebury skatepark!

DESCRIPTION:SKATE DREAMS is the first feature documentary about the rise of women’s skateboarding. It profiles a diverse group of women whose pursuit of self-expression and freedom has helped create an international movement. The story spans the trailblazing pioneers of the 1980s and the next generation of Olympic contenders as they defy industry gatekeepers and fight for professional equality. SKATE DREAMS showcases the charismatic personalities and indomitable spirits of these amazing talents on and off their skateboards. Directed by Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Jessica Edwards (MAVIS!). \nJoin us for one of two screenings on October 4th and the Marquis Theater: 3:00pm & 7:00pm. \nSuggested $15 donation at the door\, with all proceeds going to the Middlebury Skatepark Project. \nThe film is not rated\, but we recommend it for ages 8+ due to some language. Parents\, watch the trailer below to see if it’s a good fit for your young kiddo. \nWe also invite you to join us at the Middlebury Mini before the movie showings. We will have local women skaters hosting and helping newcomers learn how to pump on the ramp. \nHere is the overall schedule of the day — keep in mind it’s an early release day for Middlebury schools! \nAfter School Special \n1:00-2:00 After School Mini Meetup\, hosted by local women skaters. We will have our skateboards and pads for anyone who wants to try skating for the first time! BYO Helmet (we have a few to loan out but your own well-fitted helmet is best). \n3:00-4:30 First Skate Dreams screening at the Marquis Theater – $15 at the door \n“Shinner\, Dinner and Movie!”  \n4:00-5:30 Join us for a skate sesh at the Middlebury Mini\, hosted by local women skaters. Adult beginners welcome! We’ll bring some loaner boards and pads\, bring your own helmet if you want to try it out. \n6:00-7:00 Head over to the Marquis Cafe for dinner before the film.
